Designed for You

Each Adult Facilitator Training Workshop is planned to meet the needs of the community. Preliminary discussions with organizers help shape the specific focus, goals, objectives and case studies within the workshop. And a questionnaire sent a week in advance allows participants to introduce their current comfort level with youth engagement. These responses help to make sure we all join together at an appropriate stage of everyone's experience, while planning space for local successes and struggles so that all might gain from the expertise in the room.

On-site workshops are limited to between 20-30 people depending on the number of facilitators so that they can be hands-on and engaging. Strategies and tools build from participants' existing experience-level to expand their skills and comfort with taking action. These workshops cover as much theory as the group requires, while designed around inter-active simulation so that the learning is not only 'heard' but sensed, reflected-upon and acted out.
