Autumn 2008 - after riding up a suburban hill to catch a bus to the SkyTrain I recalled what a friend had said about stretching after riding up steep hills. So, while leaning on the Bus Stop pole to stretch my calves I realized that this "waiting" time could serve another purpose.... Yoga in Transit was born!
