E: Creative Engagement
Creative engagement is the FOLLOW-THROUGH: to ensure that the learning is learned, and that it can be applied after the workshops have ended.
As a painter, painting instructor and former Emily Carr University of Art + Design student, Arthur Orsini endeavours to creatively engage participants and community members at every opportunity. All our workshops and seminars include inter-active components that seek creative approaches to engagement. This last workshop is a critical step to ensure that the previous skills and tools have sunk in and are applicable. More than a review, it is a follow-through for Adult Facilitators to return to the initial training goals and formulate deeper answers that will make them more effective in their community. "If you’re not prepared to be wrong, you’ll never come up with anything original." Sir Ken Robinson from his TED talk: Do Schools Kill Creativity "Creativity can be defined as the search for alternatives." Edward De Bono |
